A Year in Review

2024 at Telios Banner

As 2024 has come to a close, we are excited to share some of the incredible milestones and achievements that defined Telios’ year! From expanding our team and strengthening our operations in Dallas, Houston, and Kansas City to fostering meaningful partnerships, last year was one of remarkable progress. Let’s look back at a few highlights of 2024 – moments we are proud of, growth we have achieved together, and a glimpse of what’s to come as we continue building a stronger and brighter future.

2024 Projects

Various new and exciting projects challenged us to innovate, explore new ideas, and expand our design expertise. These challenges reinforced our commitment to being a firm driven by innovation and growth, ensuring we can always meet the demands and visions of our clients. Explore a few of the projects we are proud to be a part of below.

Wells Fargo project

Wells Fargo:

With a clear focus on sustainability, Wells Fargo is leading the way with their new 5% net-positive campus in Irving, Texas. Covering 22 acres and 850,000 SF across two 10-story towers, Wells Fargo is the first corporate campus of its size in Texas to achieve this milestone. Telios’ engineering team led the systems sustainability design, solar design, and energy modeling that aided in achieving the net-positive goal.  Our construction team is managing the on-site installation, startup, and commissioning process for the solar array. We’re proud to have contributed to such a forward-thinking project; one that not only sets a standard for sustainability but also reflects the power of thoughtful design and collaboration.

The Quadrangle project

The Quadrangle:

The Quad, a 663,000-square foot premier mixed-use development in Uptown Dallas, features 350,000 SF of office space, 15,000 SF of retail, and four levels of below-grade parking. At its center is a 12-story office tower, WiredScore and SmartScore Platinum certified. The only building in Dallas and one of three in Texas with both distinctions. Our Technology Team delivered advanced infrastructure, including pathways, core/shell data networks, DAS/WIFI, access control, audiovisual systems, and CCTV. Notable features include advanced AV systems for the conference center and The Quad Club, a penthouse amenity club. These certifications ensure future-ready technology, solidifying The Quad as a leader in innovation and sustainability.

Telios Mission Critical Team, Dallas & Kansas City

Edged Energy:

Our Dallas and Kansas City Mission Critical teams have been working together on two green field data center projects that broke ground this year. A 24MW data center located in Columbus, Ohio and a 36MW data center in Phoenix, Arizona. Through these projects, Telios has had the opportunity to assist Edged in growing their portfolio of waterless, efficient, and purpose built data centers.

Center for Pursuit- Telios Houston

Center for Pursuit:

Our Houston team worked diligently on The Center for Pursuit; a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals with intellectual disabilities. Located in the East Downtown (EaDo) district of Houston, this impressive 3-building complex includes a medical and wellness facility, an administrative building, and retail space. Spanning a 3.8-acre site, The Center for Pursuit provides over 100,000 square feet of space.

Cellipoint Project by Telios Houston

Cellipont:

Another standout project for our Houston office is Cellipont Bioservices. This new cGMP facility in The Woodlands is a 76,000 square foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility specializing in cell therapy and gene modification. Our Houston MEP and Technology teams combined their expertise and played a key role in the project’s success.

Telios Culture

2024 marked a period of unprecedented growth for Telios. Three of our engineers received their professional engineering licenses and we had several well-deserved internal promotions! With the addition of eighteen new hires last year, we welcomed many fresh faces who are contributing to our growth and enhancing our firm’s unique and rewarding work environment. Here are a few more notable things that happened at our offices throughout the year.

Telios Houston Office Culture

Houston Office Move and More!

Our Houston office relocated to a new building in the epicenter of the Energy Corridor and we could not be more excited about the move! With a modern, fresh look, the 7th floor space has panoramic views of downtown, The Galleria and the west side. In addition to the new office, Houston is celebrating 20 years of dedicated service in the Houston market. We are very proud of the growth and many accomplishments of the Houston team over the past two decades and look forward to many more successful years.

Charity remains a cornerstone of Telios’ values, and as we grow, our commitment to giving back only deepens. Each of our offices embraced unique projects aimed at making a meaningful impact on their local communities:

Telios Pickle Ball for a Purpose Tournament

Pickleball for a Purpose:

The Telios team in Dallas hosted its very first “Pickleball for a Purpose” tournament, a fun and successful charity event where employees and clients came together to compete for a great cause—raising funds for SoulFood Greenhouse. This local hydroponic greenhouse supports the community by providing fresh produce to local food pantries. The event was a meaningful way to give back and a fun-filled opportunity spent with some of our industry partners!

Telios Dallas CANStruction Team

CANstruction:

Partnering with Corgan Architects, our Dallas team participated in the annual CANstruction build event! This unique competition unites industry teams to create impressive structures entirely out of non-perishable food cans benefiting the North Texas Food Bank. The completed structures are showcased at NorthPark Mall for three weeks before final judging and deconstruction.

Telios Kansas City Harvester's Food Drive Team

Harvesters Food Drive:

Telios Kansas City recently participated in the Harvesters food bank drive, supporting the regional effort to combat food insecurity across Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri. The Telios team gathered donations of non-perishable foods and funds to contribute to Harvesters, a leading food bank and hunger relief network in the area. Through their involvement, Telios helped provide essential resources to families and individuals facing hunger. This effort reflects Telios’ commitment to giving back to the community and supporting local initiatives that make a meaningful impact.

Telios Houston Team

Be A Resource:

The Houston team partnered with Be A Resource (BEAR) to adopt at-risk or CPS-involved children for their BEARing Gifts Program. The program entails collecting an extensive collection of essential items and toys for distribution to the children and their families.

Looking Onward…

2024 was a landmark year for Telios. As we continue to grow and expand our services and expertise, we have been able to achieve more and give back in bigger and better ways. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for us. Here’s to a successful 2025!
