The Quadrangle, now referred to as “The Quad” was originally built in 1966 as one of the first mixed-use developments in Dallas. It was originally a unique four-acre site built around courtyards and walkways making it a highly walkable retail zone that housed forty shops and restaurants. In the 80’s, The Quad went through an expansion that brought an office tower and disregarded the original planning concept to keep the area walkable and pedestrian friendly. The current owner’s vision is to reinvigorate this property back into a walkable, mixed-use space that competes in today’s mixed-use landscape.

The Telios technology team worked seamlessly with the owner and design team to provide the robust design of infrastructure pathways, core/shell data network, wireless DAS/WiFi, access control, and CCTV.

Special attention was given to the conference center audiovisual and terrace audio of The Quad Club, a penthouse amenity center with a tenant lounge, conference center, and a rooftop terrace with views of the Dallas skyline. Additionally, a unique feature of this project is an Operations Command Center that monitors building operations and security systems.

The Quadrangle is WiredScore and SmartScore Platinum Certified. Currently, it is the only building in Dallas and one of three in Texas with both certifications. Being certified also means that the building will be able to easily integrate any new technologies that develop in the future.
