Teliosity provided MEP and Technology Engineering Design for the renovation of the UTMB Clear Lake Hospital to convert an Acute Care Nursing Unit into a Pediatrics Nursing Unit.

The project required tight coordination and integration across multiple systems being delivered by different contractors ensuring maximum safety for newborn patients and their families while allowing for proper life safety and emergency response.

Additionally, several existing patient rooms were converted to IMU beds requiring a unique approach to providing code required patient observation and maintaining patient privacy by incorporating a camera system in each room managed through the integration of access-controlled displays and strategic equipment selection.

Technology Design services included Data, Voice, Security, Audio Visual, Patient Entertainment Systems, Nurse Call, and Infant Abduction Systems.
