The Toyota Motors Manufacturing plant is a recent addition to the manufacturing landscape in Mexio. The plant will produce approximately 100,000 of Toyota’s flagship model of pick-up truck, the Tacoma. The facility includes multiple shops for automotive manufacturing to include press, weld, paint, assembly, quality control and nine onsite suppliers.For a state-of-the-art facility that will make use of all the latest techniques, including workers being assisted by smart machines and computer systems, the technology design was a crucial part of the plant design. The Telios Technology Team collaborated closely with Toyota to design and engineer the structured cabling systems, access control systems, and CCTV systems for the new plant.
As an additional service, Telios provided technology construction management services to ensure the design and implementation of the technology systems met the Owner’s requirements.
