Roanoke’s new city hall is located as the iconic centerpiece of Downtown Roanoke. The use of historical forms and construction techniques allows the building to blend perfectly with older existing buildings in the surrounding area. The new City Hall consists of public service office areas for multiple departments, including city administration, accounting, code enforcement and other departments, and multiple conference rooms, as well as a Council Conference room for Executive Session and a Council Chamber.

This facility while befitting historic aesthetics, has state of the art design with technology and AV capabilities suited for today’s demands. Telios’ Technology Team provided integrated design for the building systems to include data, audio visual, and security systems. The Council Chamber is equipped with audio, TVs with video for council, and cameras with recording capabilities. Security is controlled by Access Control and CCTV. The facility is equipped with wireless audio capabilities for outdoor meetings as well.

Telios provided MEP Engineering Design for the new city hall as well as site and building lighting. An emergency generator system was designed for critical components of the facility.
