The Orion Headquarters at Midway’s East River development represent a dynamic workplace that blends industrial authenticity with modern functionality. Spanning approximately 63,500 square feet across three full floors, the project consolidated Orion’s three Houston offices including its headquarters into a single, unified location within one of the city’s most forward-looking mixed-use districts. As an early tenant, Orion’s presence helps anchor East River as a hub for innovative, engineering-driven organizations connected to the region’s industrial and maritime roots.

Our electrical engineering team partnered closely with the project stakeholders to support the transformation of a white-box shell into a fully integrated workplace reflective of Orion’s culture and technical expertise. Electrical systems were designed to complement the exposed concrete structure and industrial materials, while seamlessly supporting modern workplace needs. Thoughtful coordination ensured reliable power distribution, energy-efficient lighting, and flexible infrastructure to accommodate a wide range of work styles from field operations and collaboration zones, to executive offices and conference spaces.

The result is a technically robust and visually compelling workplace that reflects Orion’s hands-on engineering heritage while positioning the company for continued growth within Houston’s evolving East River community.
