MEP Engineering

Nutrien is one of the world’s largest nitrogen producers, operating
its Borger Nitrogen Operations facility in the Texas Panhandle since
1968. This project involved the design and construction of a new
8,600-square-foot laboratory and office facility built to directly support
plant operations at the Borger site, one of the most significant nitrogen
fertilizer production facilities in North America.

The facility integrates laboratory and administrative spaces designed
to function in a demanding industrial environment. The laboratory
environment incorporates dedicated HVAC and exhaust systems to
maintain controlled conditions for specialized processes, RO/DI water
treatment infrastructure, and laboratory gas systems. These are all
engineered to meet the rigorous operational and safety standards
required of an active chemical production facility.

Telios provided full MEP engineering services for the project,
coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across both
the lab and office environments. Engineering systems were designed
to support the precision requirements of a working laboratory while
seamlessly integrating with the broader infrastructure of an active
industrial campus.
