The Dunn Tower patient floor project delivered a comprehensive architectural upgrade, revitalizing every major space within the unit. Patient rooms and restrooms received modernized finishes and improved functionality, while nursing stations, work areas, public elevator lobbies, and waiting rooms were thoughtfully refreshed to enhance comfort and efficiency for both patients and staff.
Adding to the complexity, construction progressed while half of each floor remained fully operational as active patient care areas, requiring careful coordination, infection control measures, and phased scheduling. The project also introduced new pre-fabricated headwall systems, manufactured off-site and installed to replace outdated units, ensuring a cleaner, faster, and more streamlined implementation.
