MEP Engineering

ChampionX is a global leader in chemistry solutions, artificial lift systems,
and engineered technologies that support oil and gas production across
the Permian Basin and beyond. This project involved the renovation of an
existing open office environment into a fully functional 4,700 square foot
laboratory facility at their Odessa, Texas location.

The scope required a complete transformation of the space to meet the
demanding operational requirements of a working lab, including a onepass
air system to maintain air quality and personnel safety, RO/DI water
treatment infrastructure, and dedicated laboratory gas systems. Each
of these systems required careful coordination to ensure compliance
with lab-grade standards while integrating seamlessly into an existing
building.

One of the primary engineering challenges on this project was
accommodating all MEP system requirements within a highly constrained
plenum space. Telios worked closely with the project team to develop
solutions that maintained full system performance while navigating the
spatial limitations of the existing structure and ensuring the facility could
support ChampionX’s technical operations without compromise.
