Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer – Power Distribution

Telios Corporation is looking for a full-time, Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. If you are an electrical engineer with a successful background in power distribution who can provide excellent customer service, we’d like to hear from you. Engineers will be responsible for taking designs from concept to the permit and construction document set. You must be capable of defining critical equipment specifications and approving equipment submittals. Engineers will directly support construction and be a part of the process from site selection review through commissioning and ultimately turnover. The Senior Electrical Engineer will support our healthcare, mission-critical, corporate office, and industrial/manufacturing markets. Specific areas of responsibility include the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical design for assigned projects, including supervisory responsibilities for electrical staff
  • Coordination of project designs with other disciplines
  • Developing and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Attending construction site observations and construction administration
  • Prepare design documents utilizing Revit and AutoCAD Software along with drafting project-specific specifications

Minimum Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural or Electrical Engineering required
  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering required
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring staff on a project basis and assure continued staff advancement from project to project required
  • Strong quality control of documents required
  • Registered Professional Engineer preferred
