Office & Engineering Administrator

Our Telios Corp’s Kansas City office is a leading provider of mission-critical engineering solutions. We are expanding our team in Kansas City and are seeking a highly organized and motivated Office & Engineering Administrator to support our growing engineering staff. The Office & Engineering Administrator is a vital role responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Kansas City office. This position will provide comprehensive administrative and technical support to our engineering team in Kansas City, while also collaborating closely with our mission-critical engineering team in Dallas. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess strong time management skills, with a desire to learn and grow within the engineering or construction sectors.

Responsibilities:

    Administrative Support:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies
  • Organize and maintain accurate records, both physical and digital
  • Manage all office/facilities support initiatives, i.e. office equipment and supplies, vendor contracts, office maintenance, etc
  • Facilitate communication between the Kansas City and Dallas engineering teams
  • Engineering Project Support:

  • Assist in the coordination of engineering projects by managing documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring timely communication
  • Support production, scheduling, quality, and engineering teams as required
  • Coordinate various administrative and technical tasks to contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering team
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate timely and accurate communication to deliver customer orders on time
  • Operational Efficiency:

  • Implement and maintain efficient administrative procedures to support current operations and facilitate future growth
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues to ensure smooth office operations
  • Master new skills and adapt to evolving needs within the engineering and construction sectors

Minimum Criteria:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required; undergraduate degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct work experience as an Office Administrator or similar administrative role; a preference for experience in an engineering industry
  • Demonstrated work experience and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must be highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks; possesses a meticulous attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
