Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment at various sites across North America. This role involves extensive travel and flexible work hours to support clients. The technician will represent Telios Construction Management (TCM), interact with clients, and ensure a safe work environment. Key responsibilities include inventory management, developing test procedures, and providing field support for MEP construction and commissioning projects. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, proficient in using various tools and equipment, and committed to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, inspect, repair and service rack-mounted UPS systems, self-contained AC units, and controls systems supporting IT enclosures
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections (on a quarterly basis) on self-contained IT enclosures at multiple client sites
  • Respond to component failures for repair/replacement
  • Perform installations of IT components within enclosures
  • Document all onsite activities in TCM software–training will be provided
  • Communicate with client as needed to schedule onsite visits for maintenance and/or repairs
  • Prepare site-required safety documentation for performing onsite work
  • Maintain site-specific training and safety requirements to ensure access to client site

Minimum Criteria:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with troubleshooting electrical or HVAC systems
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the US, Mexico, and Canada required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to meet or exceed company-qualifying standards
  • Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
