Engineering Intern (Part Time) College Station, Texas

Telios, a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design services firm, is always looking for talent. We are searching for college students pursuing degrees in Mechanical, Electrical, and Industrial Engineering. This is a flexible part time position that is designed to occur concurrently with continued education efforts. Telios supports a “School First” priority and will work around your active semester’s responsibilities. This position will assist with the design and development of custom solutions for our clients throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico. Project design can include, but is not be limited to, 3-D CAD (Fusion and REVIT) drafting, thermal analysis, electrical and control circuit development, PLC coding, prototype construction, as-built documentation, and specification development. In addition to design responsibilities, our Engineering Interns will be responsible for collaboration with project management on selected projects, which will include, but not be limited to, client relationships, assistance in managing project schedules and deadlines, and document revisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the design and development of custom solutions for our clients throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico.
  • Project design can include, but is not limited to, 3-D CAD (Fusion and REVIT) drafting, thermal analysis, electrical and control circuit development, PLC coding, prototype construction, as-built documentation, and specification development.
  • Collaborating with project management on selected projects, which will include, but not be limited to, client relationships, assistance in managing project schedules and deadlines, and document revisions.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Currently pursuing a BS/BA degree from an ABET-accredited four-year university
  • Specific engineering disciplines required include mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering.
  • Additional experience in engineering drafting, 3D modeling, or CAD class completion
