Project Manager

As a Project Manager with our Telios Construction Management (TCM) team, you will deliver enhanced construction administration services, overseeing and managing all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) focused construction projects from planning to completion. This is a 6–9-month assignment that will require extensive company-paid travel, supporting manufacturing and mission critical clients in Dalton, GA, Marble, NC, and Liberty, NC. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, which shall include communicating, and implementing project schedules, obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities, reviewing/responding to RFI’s, procuring, submitting, and managing the submittal process. The Project Manager will act as the liaison between the owner, architect, general contractor, and our in-house MEP engineering team identifying critical issues that will impact performance, the quality or scope of work, ensuring all key project milestones and safety/quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources, in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
  • Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project operations and adherence to project timelines
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and financials, track expenses, and provide regular reports to stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget constraints
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure project success
  • Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality control standards, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and project specifications
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, vendors, and team members, to provide updates on project status and address any issues or concerns
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the project team, including construction personnel, subcontractors, and vendors, to ensure a collaborative and productive work environment and successful project outcomes

Minimum Criteria:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma, or GED equivalent; undergraduate degree in engineering, construction science/management, or related degree is preferred
  • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated work experience as a construction field engineer, project manager, construction superintendent in the manufacturing, industrial, or heavy commercial sectors
  • Demonstrated experience and proven track record of successfully managing MEP construction projects from planning to completion are required
  • Must be willing to travel extensively (80%+) to sites in Dalton, GA, Marble, NC, Liberty, NC, and to our TCM headquarters in Dallas, TX
