Commissioning Project Manager

The Telios Construction Management (TCM) team brings complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology solutions from design to construction, utilizing a hands-on approach from the project’s inception through completion. With our knowledge of critical infrastructure and building systems, we are uniquely positioned to bring value to the construction process. TCM will be adding a Cx/CA Project Manager to our Dallas, TX office whose focus will be corporate office, healthcare, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of the commissioning (Cx) process, specific to electrical systems, on associated projects by means of document development, field observations, and onsite testing
  • Interact with client staff, facility owners and operators, engineers and building construction trades
  • Review of RFI’s, shop drawings and equipment submittals
  • Responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of the commissioning process for the electrical systems
  • Develop detailed Functional Performance Test (FPT) procedures for issue to contractor
  • Perform field observations and develop field reports

Minimum Criteria:

  • Minimum of 4 years of commissioning mechanical or electrical systems and demonstrated knowledge of mission critical design concepts and critical operating facilities
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or related program is preferred
  • 5 years of experience in installation, system startup, testing and/or commissioning for the above-mentioned project focus types
  • Ability to travel domestically 50% of the time is required
  • CxA certification is preferred
