Accountant

Our corporate finance and accounting team at Telios Corporation is looking to add a talented and ambitious Accountant eager to make a real impact to our company’s continued success. The Accountant will play an integral role in maintaining and supporting both our Telios Corporate and Telios Construction Management teams, and is a proactive self-starter who enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Enter, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and on time
  • Prepare customer invoices and track outstanding receivables
  • Record payments, deposits, vendor bills, credits, and adjustments in the accounting system
  • Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, bank activity, and general ledger accounts
  • Follow up on past-due customer balances and assist with collections
  • Maintain accurate vendor and customer records, including W-9s, payment terms, and contact information
  • Support weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end close, accruals, and financial reporting support
  • Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues

Minimum Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fields
  • 1-3 years of direct work experience as an accountant with demonstrated Strong knowledge of accounting practices and principles
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel as well as QuickBooks or similar accounting software
